The term color means one specific color. Hue means the color family of that specific color, such as the different tints and shades.
To ting a hue is to lighten a color, and to shade a hue is to darken.
An analogous color scheme is the hues that sit next to each other on the color wheel.
A complementary color is the opposite color on the color wheel. When you mix the two colors, they cancel eachother out and make a neutral color.
Simultaneous contrast is when two complementary colors are next to each other, it makes it seem it’s bright to the eye.
Saturation is how bright a color is. It can also mean it’s intensity.
